Personal Training
Sometimes a little help and motivation are needed to get fit. Through a tailored exercise program, Personal Training gives members interaction with a certified and equivalently-trained personal trainer who can help them meet their fitness goals. Each trainers will first assess a participant’s fitness level and then tailor a personal exercise program based on those assessments.

Group personal training registration available autumn through spring quarters Start the quarter off right and sign up today for a variety of group personal training classes, including Women’s Resistance Training, Free Motion Circuit and Partner Resistance Training. All classes cost $45 and are held from the 1st week through finals week.

Attention Ladies only! Sign up for your own resistance training class now! Every Tuesday and Thursday beginning Jan. 6, we're offering a private resistance training class using tubing, free weights, stability balls, and body weight for 45 minutes per class. At $45 for 10 weeks, you'll accomplish much in terms of strength, flexibility, increased metabolism, and improved overall body awareness.
Classes are Tues & Thurs beginning Jan. 6 at 5:45-6:30 p.m. Lead by one of our lady personal training staff. Classes will be held in RPAC Multi-purpose room 4 B-138 E. Please register over the phone or in person at the RPAC Welcome Center Desk.
Winter Strength Training! Get in shape this winter with our 30-minute Free Motion Circuit workout while contributing points your 2009 Your Plan for Health account! In just a half hour, this program will improve both aerobic fitness and muscular strength!!
Classes are available Mon-Thurs at 6:30 and 7:15 a.m., 12:15, 5:30, and 6:15 p.m. in our Free Motion area in RPAC. Classes are $45 for the entire quarter which includes a total of 20 sessions for this price!! Please register over the phone or in person at the RPAC Welcome Center desk.
New Member Orientation Learn how to properly use the Cybex and Paramount fitness equipment.
New members may enlist in two (total) weekly orientations within 60 days of joining. Orientations are free and last for 60 minutes and 10 members may enlist per section.
Register at the RPAC Welcome Center Desk. Registration begins September 22 and is ongoing through April 3, 2009. Equipment orientations begin September 29 and are lead by an Ohio State personal trainer.
Weekly orientation times:
- Mon-Fri at 7:45 a.m., 12:30 and 5:30 p.m.
- Saturdays at 10 a.m.
